Recognition

Get the Recognition you deserve!  NSTHRC is pleased to offer Individual Recognition programs for Tourism Professionals who want to pursue professional development through emerit national certification.  emerit is the pinnacle in Canadian tourism training and provides individuals with the opportunity in 27 occupations including front line, supervisory and management.

NSTHRC also offers Company Recognition Programs that celebrate and support Tourism organizations that commit to service excellence and on-going staff development. These annual programs are aimed at helping organizations turn their service commitment into a marketing advantage! Our goal is to increase consumer awareness towards the commitment to excellent service that goes along with the Nova Scotia BEST Service Excellence and emerit Business Recognition Logos.

Employee Recognition

Be nationally recognized as a leading tourism professional – become emerit certified!

Certification is a demonstration of competency, which means that certified professionals meet job standards set by industry. Earning this important credential means that you will be recognized as a leading professional in your industry. By achieving emerit certification you earn the right to display your professional designation on business cards and résumés.

Increase job confidence by having your mastery of occupational knowledge and experience rewarded with a professional designation.  Click here for more information on becoming nationally certified.
