Give Team Goals a Halftime Checkup
Many team sports have some type of halftime during games. It's a chance for coaches and teammates to evaluate what they've done so far in the game. If it's working, they keep on with it; if not, they revise their strategy for winning the game. It's also a time for the players to take a break from the action, step back and regroup.

With the end of the year right around the corner, it's vitally important that you take time to analyze what's working for your team and make changes if necessary. How is your team doing with its goals? Is the team making the progress you expected? Are team members still in the game?

Many of us wait until it is too late to assess where we are. Are you playing the game but not really keeping score? Only one thing is certain: If you don't focus on your goals, you won't achieve them.

From "It's Half Time - What's Your Score?" Coach Corsini's Point of the Week, Corsnini Consulting Group.
