Ready To Work - One Journey Project
The Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council has started a new Ready to Work (RTW) program effective February 1st, which will incorporate two weeks of Housekeeping Room Attendant training.

The enhanced RTW program will provide prospective employers with an opportunity to hire new employees who have existing Housekeeping training, based on the national occupational standards. Participants will complete the seven week program with three national certificates and nine provincial certificates.

Industry will be invited as guest speakers to visit the class and interview participants. The program will be completed on March 19, 2010.

Employers who are interested in participating can contact Lynn at the Council.
